چکیده

<p><span>Channel coding for the fifth generation (5G) mobile communication is currently facing new challenges as it needs to uphold diverse emerging applications and scenarios. Massive machine-type (mMTC) constitute one of main usage scenarios in 5G systems, which promise provide low data rate services a large number power complexity devices. Research on efficient schemes such use case still ongoing no decision has been made yet. Therefore, This paper compares performance different schemes, namely: tail-biting convolutional code (TBCC), density parity check codes (LDPC), Turbo Polar codes, order select appropriate channel technique 5G-mMTC scenario. The considered are evaluated terms bit error (BER) block (BLER) short information lengths (K ≤ 256). We further investigate their Algorithmic basic operations. Simulation results indicate that polar with CRC-aided successive cancelation list decoder better compared other scenario.</span></p>

Universal Filtered Multicarrier for Machine type communications in 5G

Machine to machine (M2M) and Internet of things (IoT) communication systems are characterized by short and bursty communication cycles. Devices may also have very low duty cycles to increase battery lifetime. Current 4G systems are not adapted to these kind of traffic characteristics. Even to send just a short packet, a user equipment (UE) first needs to synchronize to the network, establish a ...

5G Multimedia Massive MIMO Communications Systems

In the Fifth generation (5G) wireless communication systems, a majority of the traffic demands is contributed by various multimedia applications. To support the future 5G multimedia communication systems, the massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technique is recognized as a key enabler due to its high spectral efficiency. The massive antennas and radio frequency (RF) chains not only im...

A Vision for 5G Channel Coding

Channel coding is a vital but complex component of cellular communication systems, which is used for correcting the communication errors that are caused by noise, interference and poor signal strength. The turbo code was selected as the main channel code in 3G and 4G cellular systems, but the 3GPP standardization group is currently debating whether it should be replaced by the Low Density Parit...
